1050 Spring steel Gauntlets For Sale!

Size Large, with black padded Elkskin glove stitched in. Marked with a crown. These have an enclosed thumb articulated on rivets. Rivets are set low profile so they won't catch a sword.

1050 Spring steel shoulders for sale.

Strapped and ready to wear. Bright satin finish, handmade buckles and quality latigo leather. Fits a Medium sized shoulder. Style late 14th c. to Early 15th c.

Low profile arms. Made of 1050 spring steel, splints riveted to leather vambrace. Articulated on leathers.

Great for re-enactors or folks involved in medieval combat.

Early to Mid 14th c. Knees. Made of 1050 Spring steel, they have a tab at the top for pointing to a cuisse. There is a strap around the back.

14th c. shoulder cops. Made of 1050 spring steel, these pieces are similar to ones found at the Battle of Wisby battlefield/grave. They point onto your coat of plates and just protect the point of the shoulder. They are of a bright satin finish and have a scalloped edge design.

1050 hardened and tempored spring steel shoulders. Made of 19 and 20 ga. With strap and tab ready to wear.

Of a style seen in the late 14th c. early 15th c.

Inside view showing articulating rivets on back of shoulder and leathers front and center. Very protective but still allowing excellent mobility. Handmade buckle, and marked with a crown.

Milanese gauntlets. 1050 hardened spring steel, with padded gloves stitched in. Bright satin finish, Marked.

Same as above. Here you can see how well they conform to the architecture of the hand and allow easy grip of your weapon. Size: will fit a medium hand; a hand that will fit through a 9.5" circ. cuff. 4" long middle finger.

Same as above. Gloves are stitched in and have foam padding glued in along tops of fingers and knuckles.

This style is Italian and would see use in the early to mid 15th c. The end mitten/finger plate is the only anachronism -- making it safer for folks who do rattan or sword combat.
